Community Charities

Community Curriculum

Community is a key strand which runs through the Springfield curriculum and part of this is our work with the local charity, Baraka Community Partnerships. This organisation was established in 2007 with the aim of improving education, healthcare, water and sanitation in Zambia and Laos.

Springfield has been working in partnership with Baraka Community Partnerships to support the Kato School in Zambia, helping to raise funds for educational equipment, the building of classrooms and hosting visitors to share their experiences of education in another part of the world.

Through this partnership children have developed as global citizens, with an understanding of their wider responsibilities to a world community.
